1. There was a rich farmer who disliked priests, to an extent; he found that they were disgusting. Why? Going back a few years, he had met a priest who preached in the daytime, but he spent his nighttime in a nightclub. From that moment onwards, the farmer told everybody about this scandal. Everyone in town learnt about it.
2. One day, two priests visited his farm and requested to buy a chicken. Very reluctantly, the farmer led them to his chicken house. It took nearly half-day, they found, at last, and picked up a bald and crippled chicken.
3. To his dismay, the farmer asked them why they had to make such a choice. “We want to bring it back to our monastery. On the way, we will tell everybody we bought it from your farm.
4. Don’t do it, please!” the farmer muttered. “All my chicken here is healthy and strong. You take this ugly chicken to represent all. It’s not fair.”
5. One of the priests exploded in a laugh and exclaimed, “Right! The misconduct of one priest doesn’t represent the majority. To us, it’s not fair too.”
6. In our daily life, we should not talk about others’ shortcomings; instead, we should discover others’ strengths.
